About the Commission
The
Iowa Learning Technology commission was appointed by the
Iowa State Legislature to support innovative uses of instructional
technology
in K-12 school districts. Individual
members are appointed for terms of 2 years by
the Legislature. The
commission has
overseen the distribution of $1,000,000 to
date to support Iowa technology innovation in education. Funding
for new projects has ended but this web site provides documentation
about the work of the commission.
